The Prairie Pride Hatchery is located in Grandora, Saskatchewan which is 9 kms. west of Saskatoon. This brand new 40,000 square foot facility began setting eggs for local broiler production on September 26, 2005.

This new facility is one of the most modern and state-of-the-art hatcheries in North America. Built to exceed the latest design specifications by industry and CFIA, it incorporates the latest "single-stage" incubation technology from Jamesway Incubator Systems of Canada. With automation custom designed by KL Products, another Canadian company, this hatchery is already producing over 300,000 chicks per week with capacity to expand to over 600,000.
